Russia will not participate in the inauguration ceremonies of the Taliban government.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia was not involved in the Taliban government's swearing-in ceremony in Afghanistan.
"We do not want this to change," he said. Similarly, you think it is important to look at the current situation in Afghanistan.
Earlier in the week, the speaker of Russia's upper house of parliament had said that Russia was needed at the level of the oath-taking trip.
On Thursday, President Vladimir Putin said that Russian will contact other countries to withdraw from Afghan citizens.
A report in Moscow said that many people even go to Afghanistan to help some Afghans. We are not hiding it. We are contacting the Taliban.
